Psalms 149:3  ”Praise the Lord in the Dance”

Joyce LaBuda is called by the Lord to help restore praise and worship dance back into the church. 

In 1999, Joyce began to see visions of herself dancing before the Lord, but since she had not seen this being done before, she didn’t understand the meaning of what God was telling her.
 
Joyce attended an Aglow Conference in McCall, Idaho. After one of the workshops, she was prompted by the Holy Spirit to receive prayer. Nearing her turn to receive prayer, she began to weep. The Lord spoke through the woman praying, saying, “My daughter, I have called you to dance, before the warriors, and you listen to My voice and not the voice of man, for I have called you.  Yes my daughter you will be persecuted as I was persecuted but you listen to my voice and not the voice of man.”

She attended a dance worship conference in Los Angeles receiving instruction in the ministry of dancing, tambourines, flags, and processionals.

Shortly after this, she began to receive invitations to dance at various locations, including churches, outreaches, parks, nursing homes, conferences and orphanages. She began to teach this newfound form of dance to children and adults.   Others would gather together at various places in Treasure Valley and surrounding states, where they would join with her in doing processionals and dance.

Joyce has been sent out to the nations.  During the past several years, Joyce has traveled into cities and villages to touch hearts of women and children of Russian and Siberia in churches and orphanages with worship dance presentations and instruction.  She has danced the streets of Jerusalem celebrating the “Feast of Tabernacles”.  2005 had her traveling into Jakarta, Indonesia ministering in churches, Bible colleges and home groups.

Joyce’s heart is for restoration of this ministry back into the churches, and she has been taking this vision all over the state of Idaho. As a forerunner, she goes ahead of others in preparing the atmosphere for the Lord’s presence, interceding for the needs that she perceives as she dances.
